Comments won’t affect the SEO of your site. When you are building links that are within blog posts, don’t use exact match anchor text, vary up the keyword.
The downside of using citation flow as your benchmark is that it doesn’t measure the quality of inbound links, but their quantity. The more inbound links a site has, the better their citation flow. But this doesn’t necessarily mean a high PR. On its own, citation flow isn’t very useful, because quality is more important than quantity with link building.
Though before we move ahead, here are things that you need to keep in mind. In 2012, Google launched Penguin update, which is targeted to get rid of sites using spammy or paid ways to build links. Also, many ways which I mentioned in the article are not so good ways to get quality backlinks, so I will strikethrough such ways and you can ignore them.

I think it’s already one year and a half, and Google has no plans to update it ever. Look at Domain Authority and go for any website that’s higher than 25.

Great selection of tips, many I’ve used in the past and still do, but I have a question regards to “48. Create a Wikipedia Page For Yourself and include your link in the resource section.”. Am I wrong in thinking that you are not allowed to create a page for yourself on Wikipedia?

You may get additional or boosted value in certain circumstances, but otherwise the link still counts. Having a .de domain and getting links from a .fr domain is not a bad thing at all. You still get PR and Relevancy passing through that link! If you have a .de domain, and target an audience in Germany, and get links from other .de domains that target an audience in Germany, you “may” see some additional value – as far as .de searches go … “may”.
There’s a strong correlation between higher rankings for a website and the number of unique websites (i.e. different domain names hosted on different IP addresses) linking to that site. All else being equal, it’s preferable to have 10 links from 10 different websites than 100 links from 3 different websites. So, for a new link to your business’s website to be considered high quality, it should be from a website which hasn’t already linked to you.

If it’s complicated for you to get backlinks, it will be complicated for your competitors as well. This means that with less backlinks you’ll be able to rank higher. Keep in mind, Google PageRank is not the only factor search engines are crawling for. Here's a good rule of thumb: identify which links are relevant and positive for your brand, and don't necessarily focus on what is good for SEO. Why? Good links for your brand will ideally lead to good SEO.

And at the current time 90% of SEO is all about backlinks. I’ve tried to build some high authority backlinks by commenting but it rarely works, especially for niches other than internet markeeting. there are too many websites an SEO niche can comment and get backlinks but this isn’t true for other niches. Guest posting works for all. I am gonna try it.
